Michael Mandziuk is a self-taught artist working primarily in acrylic painting and serigraphy. Mandziuk has held several odd jobs, ranging from working for a graphic arts studio to a candy and restaurant company as a busboy, dishwasher and sweeper, eventually becoming a graphic artist. Since 1964, he has been employed as an industrial illustrator for the Ford Motor Company.
Mandziuk has exhibited extensively since 1969 at various juried art fairs, galleries and museums. In 1974, he had a solo show at the Welna Gallery, Chicago, by whom he was then represented. Mandziuk’s work is held in several collections across the United States and Canada, including that of the Minnesota Museum of Art, St. Paul.
