Dear Members and Friends,
On Saturday, November 6th we marked the 50th anniversary celebration of UIMA with our gala concert fundraiser, Sounds of Celebration, embraced by the melodic aura of renowned musicians, Solomiya Ivakhiv, Juliana Osinchuk, Stefan Szkafarowsky, and Marta Zaliznyak-Derzhko.
The evening was spectacular and enjoyed by all. Many individuals contributed to the success of this important celebration. I would like to thank those many supporters of resolute vision, strong drive, abiding volunteerism and belief in UIMA’s mission.

An idea became reality through much effort and organization by Mykhajlo Holian, Music Committee Chair and Orysia Cardoso, Board Chairperson along with members of the Music committee, Andriy Chuyko, Khrystyna Musiy, Volodymyr Popowych and Irka Quirmbach .
Much gratitude to the UIMA staff who worked zealously behind the scenes. This event would not come to fruition without their input, talents, and energy. My heartfelt thanks to Ulyana Dmytriv, Christina Wyshnytzky and Alexandra Senycia. It is always gratifying when board members volunteer. Board Member/Graphic Designer Sophia Fedachtchin created all the outstanding gala graphics, as well as Board Member/Videographer Taras Nebesny recorded the event.
