On Saturday, December 7th, UIMA kicked off the Holiday Season with a festive reception thanking members and their friends for their sustained support of our organization.
A brief program conducted by Board Member and special events chairperson, Motria Melnyk, who highlighted a banner year the Institute witnessed in 2013.

The focus of the evening was a magnificent architectural rendering of a two phase expansion project which was described with great enthusiasm by Board Member and architect, George Sambor. The first phase of the ambitious project is the much anticipated outdoor sculpture garden, followed by expanded gallery and archival spaces and educational workshops.

Generous gifts of $25,000 from the Heritage Foundation at First Security National Bank, and $5,000 from the Selfreliance Foundation at the Selfreliance Ukrainian American Credit Union were gifted by Dr. Paul Nadzikewych and Mr. Oleh Karawan respectively.

Door prizes added a delightful surprise element to a fun filled evening.
