Celebrating The Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art’s 55th Anniversary

On Saturday, May 30th the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art celebrated its 55th anniversary with a festive fundraising gala. “The Enduring Legacy of Ukrainian Art: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future,” carries profound meaning in this moment of history. On this special evening, both galleries were filled with the beauty, strength, and spirit of Ukrainian art. Guests were welcomed by an exhibition in the East Gallery, featuring graphic masterpieces in UIMA’s permanent collection by renowned artist Jacques Hnizdovsky alongside an exhibition in the West Gallery, Between Voice and Silence reflecting Ukraine’s resilience by contemporary artists Ira Bondarenko, Katya Lisova, and Matvii Vaisberg.
